  • Departmental Orientation, 11:00-12:00 am, at the Room 646 PGH..
  • Afternoon, College Orientation.

NOTE: A new teaching fellow student should meet our Graduate advisor Ms. Pamela Draughn who will provide lots of useful information and helping you to fill out the following forms:

  • GATF Form (Graduate Assistant Agreement Form) (Required for all TA and RA students),
  • Tuition Waive Form (Required for all non-Texas residents),
  • Computer Account Application Form (Required for all new TA/RA students),
  • Forms for New Employees.
  • Provide you the office key and mailbox key.
For international students, when you receive your I-20 form, you should also find information from the International Students and Scholar Services Office at University of Houston, which includes the following
  • University Orientation Schedule
  • Apply Social Security Card
  • Special Airport Pickup
  • Arriving Instruction and Meeting Places
  • etc.
