acknowledging the 2005 Best Women in Technology award.
- Canic awarded Cullen Distinguished Professorship
at the University of Houston
- Glowinski received SIAM 2004 Von Karman
Prize largely due to his work on incompressible viscous flow, particularly on
particulate flow whose results have been used in the NIGMS grant research.
- Glowinski was elected as Member of the
French National Academy of Sciences in 2005.
- 2004: Glowinski and Canic were invited by the
French National Academy of Sciences to presented a lecture at the Workshop on
Fluid-Structure Interaction organized by the French National Academy of
Sciences, related to the research supported by this grant.
