HSFF Workshop Contributors and Focal Points Responsibility
Prior to arrival in Houston:
The focal points will be responsible for presenting an overview
of the test cases at the workshop (30 minutes duration) and for the
preparation of a synthesis of the test cases results assisted by the
data base. In the case of multiple focal points they should decide
among themselves for a proper allocation of the time of the overview
presentation.
Workshop contributors should notify their
respective focal points prior to arrival in Houston.
Contributors should install their solution file on the HSFF
computer prior to arrival in Houston (see
OUTPUT FORMATS). They should also prepare
a presentation with transparencies/slides of 10 minutes duration.
The DEADLINE for submission of contributions to the workshop
is October 27, 1995..
We will gladly accept contributions after this date, but please be
advised that contributions received after may not be checked
and certainly will not be reviewed before November 6.
Posterior to arrival in Houston:
During the first two days of the conference, focal points (and
possibly some contributors) will begin to elaborate the synthesis
assisted by the HSFF. The syntheses should be complemented on
Wednesday with additional information coming from the presentations
by the contributors.
The first day of the workshop, Wednesday, will be devoted to
the presentations of the overviews and the presentations by the
contributors in parallel sessions (see
Workshop Schedule). The syntheses will be presented the second day by
some of the 'focal points' assisted by the HSFF.
Various constraints have dictated the provisional schedule. There
might be problems arising from individuals contributing to conflicting
parallel sessions. These conflicts will have to be resolved on a
case-by-case basis.
