T3-95 Shock-Shock Interaction
(Europe)
UPDATED on 08/08/95
MINOR UPDATED on 08/30/95
Brief Description
The test is proposed for evaluating codes for the analysis of
shock-shock interaction. The interaction of an impinging shock
generated by a ramp and the bow shock around a circular cylinder
(Edney type IV) with significant dissociation of the molecular
nitrogen component of air is the key interest here. This test case is
based upon experimental results from the HEG wind tunnel in
Goettingen.
