Grading policy
- Exams: There will be in-class lab quizzes, three mid-exams, and one comprehensive final exam. There will be no online exams.
  Calculators are not allowed while taking all exams.
- Homework assignments: After each section is covered in the lecture, you need to work wout THE PROBLEMS POSTED AT THE BOTTOM of this page.
  Homework assignments (posted below) may not be collected. But in-class lab quiz problems will be chosen from HW assignments.
- Quizzes: In-class lab quizzes will be given at the recitation laboratory hours.
  EMCF quizzes might be given via the CASA Campus Services .
- ATTENDANCE: Roll will be taken at random times via giving in-class quizzes at lecture hours.
- Exam Dates (All exams will be given at SEC 102):
  - Exam I: 12:30PM-1:45 PM, Thursday, June 13, 2024.
  - Exam II: 12:30PM-1:45 PM, Friday, June 21, 2024.
  - Exam III: 12:30PM-1:45 PM, Monday, July 1, 2024.
  - Final Exam: 12 PM - 1:45 PM, Wednesday, July 3, 2024. (Do not leave town before the final exam date.)
- The total of lab quizzes and HW assignments is worth 100 points. Each mid-exam is worth 100 points. Comprehensive
  final exam is worth 200 points. Some of the LOWEST SCORES OF QUIZZES will be DROPPED.

- Do not miss too many quizzes. Lower total score of quizzes hurts your course grade.
- You are allowed to miss only one mid-exam due to the fact that one of the lowest mid-exam scores can be
  replaced by the half of the Final Exam score.
