Faculty Positions
The Department of Mathematics expects to have both tenure/tenure-track and visiting positions beginning in Fall 2000. Candidates for a position must have a doctoral degree, a commitment to excellence in teaching, and strong accomplishment/potential in mathematical research. Preference will be given to applicants whose mathematical interests are compatible with current research programs in the department.
Areas of particular interest include computational mathematics, dynamical systems, modern analysis, nonlinear analysis, and statistics.
