Who: My co-authors range across disciplines and over many places, from colleagues at different universities
to faculty in mathematics or in other departments at the University of Houston
and to graduate or undergraduate students who joined me in research projects, see
the selection of co-authors from publications included in MathSciNet.
How: With very few exceptions, the publications listed here have been supported by sponsors such as the National Science Foundation
or the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, Petroleum Geo-Services or Total E&P. When building
a research team, I am committed to promote underrepresented groups and minorities, because I believe these efforts are ethically required and make for a better work environment.
What: For explanations and motivation of the most important results, see a list of key publications with comments. Preprints of many of these papers and of manuscripts that are not published yet have been put on the
preprint server arXiv.
