The Information below is intended for UH Math staff and faculty. Although this information may be useful to others, requests for help from the Administrators is only supported for UH staff and faculty. Please do not email the Administrators unless you are working for the UH Math Department.
Only computers and devices maintained by the Math Department IT are allowed to be connected to the wired network! All other computers and devices must use the University Wireless network.
Current users in the department or visitors should have their personal laptops set for automatic updates from Microsoft and their Anti-Virus and Anti-Spy/Adware also setup for automatic updates or have a schedule to manually update free or limited versions of Anti-Virus or Anti-Spy/Adware software. Equipment that belongs to the University of Houston and is maintained by the Math Administrators will already be setup for automatic updates.
