Determinacy and branching patterns for the equivariant Hopf bifurcation

Using ideas based on normal forms and the Hopf fibration, we show how the framework of branching patterns and determinacy, originally developed for the study of static equivariant bifurcation problems, can be extended to the equivariant Hopf bifurcation.
