Here is the latest PWP list. As a reminder, these events are all taking place NEXT WEEK , which, quite frighteningly, is already October! 

There are so many events this coming week that it is hard to pull just a few to highlight.  But - I'll try :)

Student Video Network are having An Outdoor Movie Fest inLynn Eusan Park from 7:00 – 10:00 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Wednesday 3rd October, PRESIDENT FALL ADDRESS, Moores Opera House, 10:00 am – 11:00 am (1 Card).

Three events for the SAMUEL COLERIDGE-TAYLOR: A CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION:

• Friday 5th October, Choral Recital Hall, Panel Discussion: Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Life, Work, and Influence, 2:00 pm
• Friday 5th October, Moores Opera House, Songs, piano works, and chamber music featuring selections from 24 Negro Melodies  7:30 pm
• Saturday 6th October, Moores Opera House, SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA,Ballade in A Minor; Concerto in G Minor for Violin and Orchestra; Hiawatha’s Wedding Feast from the Song of Hiawatha.7:30 pm

PLAY, Quintero Theatre, Serious Money by Caryl Churchill, directed by Christopher Owens. It’s 1987; Thatcher’s in power, and the City is heading toward financial meltdown. The economy is growing out of control and the rhythm of the trading pit is changing forever, corruption is rife and making money is the only goal.  Enter a world of finance where packs of traders and brokers make the decisions that shape our lives. Watch as an appetite for risk and dodgy-deals reduces nations of people to mere statistics and figures. When a trader is found dead, morals are stretched to the limit as everything gets called into question. Time and logic begin to disintegrate into a fast paced, ferocious hunt for money.  (3 cards.)
