Analysis of a Renormalization Group Method for
Solving Perturbed Ordinary Differential Equations

We discuss the extension of the normal form method to nonautonomous singularly
perturbed systems. We show how to extend the method to higher order, and how
these results relate to the renormalization group method of Chen, Goldenfeld and Oono.
