  • Textbook No textbook required. Lecture notes provided.
  • Grading
    • Homework: 30 %
    • Midtern exam (October 26, Friday): 35 %
    • Final exam (November 30, Friday): 35 %

  • The course This course is an introduction to complex analysis. It will cover the theory of holomorphic functions, Cauchy theorem and Cauchy integral formula, residue theorem, harmonic and subharmonic functions, and other topics.

  • Notes My lecture notes are posted, after each class, in Blackboard Learn. Please visit https://accessuh.uh.edu/login.php for information on obtaining ID and password.
  • Homework Weekly homework. Homework are assigned on each Friday. You can hand it to me in class on the next Friday or submit through Blackboard Learn by the midnight of next Sunday.
  • Exams Two open-book exams, a midterm and a final exam. The final exam is not comprehensive.
