Conclusion

The simple model presented in this paper captures the main features of the dynamics of cell growth and accumulation of extracellular matrix for auricular chondrocytes and human dermal fibroblasts. We expect that this model would provide a good approximation of the cell and ECM growth for the tissues with similar characteristics, such as TODO. Based on our experiments and numerical simulations we conclude that the model parameters predominantly reponsible for capturing proliferation rate of a given cell culture on different artificial surfaces are $ \gamma$ and $ \delta$. The higher the quotient $ \gamma/\delta$ the higher the proliferation rate on a given surface.
