I am currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Houston. Prior to this position, I obtained my PhD in Mathematics from Ecole normale supérieure de Cachan in 2013 under the supervision of Pr. Alain Trouvé , and worked as a post-doctoral researcher at University of Copenhagen in Denmark.
My main research interests are in morphological shape analysis and geometric methods for applications to medical imaging and computational anatomy. Specifically, I am interested in mathematical and numerical models for the representation, registration and statistical analysis of geometric structures occuring in the anatomy and in biology.
I am grateful to the National Science Foundation for their continued support of my work, including the NSF DMS-1945224 CAREER award.
